АКАДЕМІЧНА АДАПТАЦІЯ ІНОЗЕМНИХ СТУДЕНТІВ ДО ВИВЧЕННЯ ПРИРОДНИЧИХ ДИСЦИПЛІН У ВНЗ УКРАЇНИ

Анотація

У статті проаналізовано проблему адаптації іноземних студентів до вивчення природничих дисциплін у вищих навчальних закладах України. Вказано на її важливість для отримання вищої освіти й формування високого рівня професійної компетентності іноземних студентів. Розкрито головні особливості й шляхи академічної адаптації іноземних студентів в Україні. Розглянуто академічну адаптацію іноземних студентів до вивчення природничих дисциплін як сукупність лінгвістичної адаптації, адаптації до більш високого ступеня освіти й адаптації до вітчизняної системи освіти.

The problem of foreign students’ adaptation to the study of natural disciplines in higher educational institutes of Ukraine is analyzed in the article. It is indicated on its importance for the higher education and forming of high level of professional competence of foreign students. Main features and ways of academic adaptation of foreign students in Ukraine are exposed. Academic adaptation of foreign students to the study of natural disciplines inclusive students’ adaptation to the unknown for them system of education, adaptation to character, maintenance and conditions of organization of educational process; adaptation to learning of high quantity of knowledge, to analysis of scientific material by an unnative anguage; learning of norms and rules of professional environment; to forming for the students of skills of independent educational and scientific work. Academic adaptation of foreign students is considered to the study of natural disciplines as totality of linguistic adaptation, adaptation to the higher level of education and adaptation to the system of educating in Ukraine.

The row of conditions with adaptive character that has wide spectrum of action for optimization of adaptation foreign students to the educational process at higher school of Ukraine is underlined. It is marked that application of adequate forms and methods of training, use of the adapted educational literature, forming for the students of certain abilities and skills allows to soften an adaptation period and to facilitate the process of mastering natural disciplines, that in turn improves quality their further naturally-scientific preparation.
